Position Search: Associate Dean and Faculty Position in Theology or Biblical Studies

Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary (Canada), a partner in the Associated Canadian Theological Schools (ACTS), invites nominations and applications for the position of Associate Dean at its MBBS-ACTS campus. MBBS-Canada is building a team of creative, innovative, enthusiastic, highly-motivated people to build a unique national seminary program that will educate and equip leaders for effective 21st-century ministry and leadership. The successful candidate will give general oversight to academic administration and faculty development at MBBS-ACTS, and will be expected to do some teaching in the area of his or her expertise. The appointment will be effective August 1, 2011 or as soon as possible thereafter. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
 
The successful applicant must have demonstrated ability to work collegially within a multi-denominational setting, and be committed to evangelical-Anabaptist theology as expressed in the Mennonite Brethren confession of faith. Preference will be given to candidates who have a completed doctoral degree, who have experience in educational administration, who can bring graduate level teaching expertise in theology or biblical studies, who can bring a collegial and collaborative approach to leadership, and who are familiar with the Mennonite Brethren denominational constituency.
